Seria is where the oil and gas industry in Brunei Darussalam started, Padang Bewara, 90 years ago.
The Seria Energy Recreational Park, SERP, was built to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd. BSP took the opportunity to share the park with the public to enable the Seria and Belait community to enjoy some physical exercise and some gentle walking in the evening. The park is about 5km away from the billionth barrel. The park is solar powered with so many things to enjoy.
